Natural point guard with a strong physical build. Makes good decisions on when to pass and when to attack the basket. When he chooses to drive, he does so with space, power, and determination.
He takes few three-point shots, but they are generally well-selected and converted at a high percentage. Reads pick-and-roll situations effectively and handles hedge defenses very well, particularly by exploiting split opportunities.
His greatest strength is his timely passing, both to teammates inside and on the perimeter. Possesses a variety of tools to attack the basket against bigger defenders, including an effective floater, and is able to finish in transition with strength and aggression.
Defensively, he is solid, although there is still room for improvement.
