In this tournament, he has shown much more than just his shooting. He attacked the basket far more frequently, using excellent changes of pace to keep defenders off balance, and displayed a soft, accurate floater against bigger defenders.
He rarely forces plays and is showing increasing awareness of his teammates' positioning. His performance has been significantly better than at the U18 South American Championship in Paraguay and the U16 FIBA AmeriCup in Mexico. The improvement is evident, with a much greater offensive role and overall impact.
Defensively, he gives everything and more, applying relentless full-court pressure on the ball and making life difficult for opposing ball handlers well away from the basket.
