Scout: Streaming Cristian Ruiz Context: CBI U17
A wing who can attack from the perimeter, usually driving right, using his body to create contact with defenders. When cut off, he uses spin moves effectively to finish. He also likes to operate with his back to the basket and uses his dribble effectively in one-on-one situations.
Has worked on and improved his three-point shooting. A player who performs best when surrounded by good teammates and can be less effective when the team relies heavily on his individual production.
Defensively, he is more comfortable guarding a power forward than a wing, as he is somewhat heavy-footed. Shows a good attitude and commitment on the boards.
