MARCH 01, 2026 – Chile
The Chilean Basketball Federation continues to strengthen its long-term development strategy through the High-Performance Plan, with new call-ups across the 2010, 2011, and 2012 age groups.
This initiative is focused on centralizing elite talent and providing structured environments where players can develop technically, physically, and mentally. Training camps are designed to simulate high-level competition demands, with an emphasis on discipline, game understanding, and professional habits.
Chile’s approach reflects a growing trend in the region: investing early in player development systems rather than relying solely on club-level progression. The integration of scouting, coaching, and performance monitoring allows for a more consistent pipeline of talent.
From a scouting perspective, this program increases visibility for emerging prospects and creates a more organized framework for international evaluation. As Chile continues to invest in these structures, it positions itself as a market with increasing relevance in Latin American basketball.
