A prospect with clear potential, particularly given the position and role he could eventually fill on the court. Reaching that level will require a great deal of work, but he has the physical tools and underlying talent to get there.
He currently operates on the perimeter, creating opportunities from the outside in. Given his height, he can establish position and gain space in the paint, yet his teammates often fail to recognize or take advantage of his mismatches. He is patient, does not complain, and tends to show his best version in 5-on-5 situations.
He has a strong one-on-one game from the perimeter and off the dribble, attacking to his left and finishing with his right hand. He can create separation with a crossover and attack along the baseline, finishing with a drop step. He also runs the floor very well.
Defensively, he could bring more energy and still does not fully take advantage of his physical potential. He tends to jump too often and shows some inconsistency in his effort.
He needs to practice with older or bigger players, developing his perimeter game while learning to use off-ball screens and become more effective as the ball handler in pick-and-roll situations.
His future is clearly on the perimeter, where he has numerous areas to improve through training and experience in those positions, particularly his passing and outside shooting. He is coachable, has good basketball IQ, and comes from a strong basketball background.
