His coach there was Leo Gutiérrez, who analyzed him for Básquet Plus:
“He has very good potential. He can play facing the basket, with his back to the basket, and he has a good jumping range. He’s a kid who needs to keep working and improving the little details. In my opinion, he has to play facing the basket, as a power forward or small forward, without neglecting the things he does well with his back to the basket and near the rim—offensive rebounding, drives, and finishing close to the hoop as well. To play facing the basket and become a power forward, he will have to work on his three-point shot mechanics to be consistent.”
He added:
“His ball-handling and drives are quite good, but these are things he needs to keep polishing in order to become a player who plays more facing the basket than with his back to it, and not end up turning into a center.”
Regarding defense, “he’s not bad, he has good mobility; he just needs a bit more lateral quickness, to correct it or continue improving it.”
