The final four of the Argentine U13 Championship adds two prospects to our ranking, while giving us several others to continue monitoring closely.

First, Tomas Spadaletti (#10, Santa Fe), a point guard with good size, solid ball-handling skills, and notable changes of pace. He has a good three-point shot and can deliver one-handed passes off the dribble. Uses the lost step when attacking the basket and a floater effectively against taller defenders. Spadaletti was named MVP of both the final and the overall tournament, closing out the championship game with 14 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists, and a 22 efficiency rating.

Vitorio Catapano (#10, FEBAMBA) is another point guard who looks to attack even the smallest gaps, attacking his defender’s outside shoulder with a powerful two-step finish. He finishes well in the fast break. Uses a crossover into a hard stop and jump shot to create separation and gain an advantage.
We will continue to monitor the development of the talented, though still undersized, Lorenzo Pasalacqua (#14, FEBAMBA), a point guard/shooting guard with excellent passing ability and strong technical skills. He has good three-point shooting mechanics and a slim frame, but is still physically small. He shows several finishing tools, including a very solid floater. Fearless and a player who tends to step up in clutch moments.
Finally, Benjamin Carrozo (#8, Santa Fe), a shooting guard who moves the ball very quickly and effectively and is generally well positioned on the floor. His main strength is his catch-and-shoot ability, and he also has a good stop that allows him to use a floater against taller defenders.
