Davih Alves, the #1-ranked prospect in the LATIN PROSPECTS 2012 class, is currently in Tenerife, Spain, competing with Dubai Basketball at the XXVIII Villa de La Orotava International U16 Tournament.
The event, held from September 30 to October 4, is one of the most prestigious youth tournaments in Europe and brings together eight teams. Dubai Basketball was drawn in Group A alongside Real Madrid, Alba Berlin and CB San Isidro, while Caja 87 Sevilla, Orange1 International Bassano, CB Canarias and Elx Basket Academy make up Group B.
The Brazilian prospect is already a familiar name for our followers: at the CBI U15 in Guarapari he competed a year up and finished among the tournament’s top 10 shot blockers. Now he gets the chance to measure himself against some of the best academies in Europe.
Our promotion made this opportunity possible. LATIN PROSPECTS is constantly being contacted by high schools, colleges and teams across Europe looking for information on our prospects, and this is one more example of what that visibility can turn into.
LATIN PROSPECTS makes things happen.
