MAR DEL PLATA, ARGENTINA — The Latin Prospects scouting network continues its extensive search for elite youth talent across South America. Our team was recently present courtside at Club Atlético Peñarol for the Federal Development Program (PFD – Programa Federal de Desarrollo) Campus, an official elite initiative organized by the Argentine Basketball Confederation (CAB – Confederación Argentina de Básquetbol) to evaluate and identify the top regional prospects in the 2010 and 2011 categories.
Inside the CAB Elite Development Hub
The PFD Campus serves as a crucial national pipeline for Argentine basketball, gathering the area’s most promising young athletes for high-level training and evaluation. Being on the ground at Peñarol’s historic arena allowed our scouting staff to analyze these prospects within a highly competitive, official development environment.
Our team focused on assessing the physical tools, fundamental skills, and tactical awareness of the participants. Among the standout talent closely monitored during the campus sessions was Joaquin Bulchi Alessandrini, whose performance caught the attention of our scouts. His metrics and on-court evolution, along with those of other notable players, are already being integrated into our international tracking database.
Strategic Value of Official Campuses
Attending official federation events like the CAB’s Federal Development Program is a core part of Latin Prospects’ mission to build the most comprehensive database in the region. Observing players inside a structured national program provides invaluable insights into their work ethic, coaching adaptability, and long-term projection.
